Data Deletion Policy

Parents can remove individual creators or devices immediately, or ask us to delete the complete family and parent account.

Effective and last updated: 27 August 2026

Request complete deletion: email privacy@puddlestone.com from the email address used to sign in, with the subject “PuddleStone deletion request”. Never include a password or pairing code.

1. Remove a creator

  1. Sign in to the PuddleStone parent dashboard.
  2. Find the creator under Approved creators.
  3. Select Remove.

The creator and its stored video metadata are deleted from that family’s active feed. Paired devices stop receiving those videos.

2. Remove a paired device

  1. Sign in to the parent dashboard.
  2. Find the device identifier under Paired devices.
  3. Select Remove device and confirm.

The device-to-family association is deleted immediately. The device can connect again only with a new pairing code.

3. Delete the whole account and family

Email privacy@puddlestone.com from the Google email address used for PuddleStone. Tell us that you want the complete PuddleStone parent account and family deleted. You may include a device identifier if it helps identify the records, but do not send passwords or pairing codes.

We may ask you to verify control of the signed-in email or account before deletion. We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days, unless applicable law requires a different period or limited information must be retained for security or legal reasons.

4. What complete deletion covers

A verified complete deletion request removes active PuddleStone records associated with the parent, including:

Expired pairing codes and rate-limit records are removed by routine cleanup independently of a request.

5. Limited retention

Technical logs, security records, provider backups, or information required to establish or defend legal claims may remain for a limited period under provider schedules or applicable law. Any retained copy is restricted and is not returned to active use, then deleted or anonymised when the retention reason ends.

6. Google permissions and uninstalling

You can review or revoke Google connections in Google security settings. PuddleStone does not currently request access to private YouTube account data. Revoking a Google connection, deleting a Google account, or uninstalling the Android app does not automatically erase PuddleStone’s server records; send the complete deletion request above.

Need help?

Email privacy@puddlestone.com. We will explain any verification needed and confirm when the request has been completed.
